0:07.1	The Gospels are the first four books of the New Testament in the Bible, Matthew, Mark,

0:12.0	These are the stories of Jesus Christ's life on Earth,
0:14.2	the friendships, the parables, the sacrifices,
0:16.6	the meals, the miracles.
0:18.6	Each month this year, we've gotten to read all four books.
0:21.0	I cannot believe we are at our last week of
0:23.4	2023. This is crazy. Y'all go ahead and
0:26.0	subscribe though because we're going to continue into
0:28.2	2024 and you do not want to miss it. Here's how today's going to work. I
0:32.2	will read three chapters to you. You can
0:34.1	listen or read along in your own Bible and then I'll pray and that's it. So today is
0:38.7	December 24th and I'll be reading Luke chapters 4 through 6 and this month I'm reading from the NASB.
0:49.0	Luke 4. Now Jesus,
0:51.0	now Jesus full of the Holy Spirit returned from the Jordan and was led around by the Spirit
0:56.2	in the wilderness for 40 days being tempted by the Devil.
1:00.0	And he ate nothing during those days, and when they had ended he was hungry.
1:04.1	And the devil said to him, if you are the son of God, tell this stone to become bread.
1:08.7	And Jesus answered him, it is written man shall not live on bread alone and he led him up and showed him all the
1:15.2	kingdoms of the world in a moment of time and the devil said to him I will give you all this
1:20.1	domain and its glory for it has been handed over to me and I give it to whomever I want.
