Good morning, everyone, the simple handicap for Monday, December 20th.

Christmas week is officially upon us.

As always, I am recording this podcast Sunday evening just before the Sunday night football game kicks off 6 p.m.

Mountain Standard Time, 8 p.m. Eastern, 9 p.m. For those of you on the Atlantic

Coast, uh, successful week. I mean, to me, the week felt like it took a month from start to finish,

with all the COVID lists, with all the injuries, with the morning of the early games, which was just underdogs on top and flipping

scores, just the week never ended.

And so I'm happy to get to the end of it.

And I recognize there's still four more games to go, but there are four more games I

will not likely be betting on in any way.

And it's a Sunday night football game. I mean, I talked about the Bucks a lot, didn't ultimately end up betting anything. So for me, I'm on the week 16. That's my kind of outlook on it. And it's minus 30 outside of the house, Celsius. I don't know what that is in Fahrenheit. But no matter what language you put it in, it's not warm.

It's not pleasant to be outside.

You know me, I'm a barbecue guy.

I like to have the smoker going, the offset.

You're not doing that in minus 30 degrees Celsius cold.

It's not happening.

And I have our place here right on the edge.

And so I walk outside the door and it's a field with

cows that goes all the way to the mountains. And then it's mountains for miles. So you get the

wind coming in. You can't hold heat. And so I've got the sort of end of week ribs brazing in the

oven. That's a new sort of path. I'm going down different flavor profile.
