I'm, of course, referring to the wonderful historian, author, and host of

our hands-on history, Heather R. Darcy, welcome. Hi, I haven't been on this side of things in a while.

It has been quite some time, hasn't it? These are always my favorite episodes. Yes, I enjoy

recording with you. It's always a good time. And I think our listeners enjoy it too.

And I got to tell you, it was just a little bit in favor of the parrots. So I'm going to probably try and rotate so the scene i am not near the parrots but i think

next time i might be near the parrots and just kind of like rotate every other and they each need

to have their own episode too i think that's only fair yeah yeah that makes perfect sense

heather are you ready to debunk some myths i can't't wait. It's about time we do this. I mean,

we've had other interviews where we've talked about her and we've gone over these things,

but I don't think we've ever just debunk them as we go. I think you're right. I think that's true,

yeah. Let's start from the beginning with her, because I think the thing that we hear the most is that

she was naive and she didn't know

how things worked in the bedroom. What do you have to say about this? I believe that typically

what people are thinking about, whether or not they're aware of it when they hear that myth, is during

the proceedings to have her marriage annulled, there was some alleged testimony from one of her ladies
