Here with me to do a pro-con discussion of a few players who could potentially make that squad are two men who

September 23rd, then on Tuesday, September 27th versus Saudi Arabia. Joe, national team

rosters are always worth discussing on this show, but why is this one maybe a little bit more

interesting than others? Well, it's the last chance, right? So there's a couple different ways

to look at this. One is from a macro team perspective. These are the last two dress rehearsals. There's nothing else after this. Mexico scheduled like 87 friendlies before the World Cup. These are the last two for the U.S. men's national team. So for Greg Berlter, this is the time to get players on the field together, the important players on the field together, jelling and

trying to nail the on-field patterns and tactical stuff ahead of November 21st against Wales.

This is it. So that's one side of this. Then on maybe like the more player-specific side,

this is pretty much the last chance for someone who hasn't been involved in the player pool

or hasn't been involved with the national team or hasn't been involved with the national team

or hasn't been there for quite some time to jump back in.

Is there a small chance we see someone completely different in November itself?

Yeah, it's possible.

I'm not going to say it's impossible.

But really, this is the last primary chance to make a name for yourself for players to come

and improve themselves
