let's ask the Lord to give us insight into this issue of what

in the heck is going on in our world. Lord, God, we want to understand what's happening in the world

from your point of view. So give us eyes to see, minds to receive, ears to hear as we endeavor

to build up our own mindset according to the truth of your word.

All right, friends, as we continue in this mindset series that we've been working on,

we're going to be looking at Romans chapter 1, verse number 28.

And the Apostle Paul is talking about what has happened to humanity because of the presence of sin in the world.

You see, sin is a corrupting influence like cancer.

It just spreads and it multiplies and it causes problems in our human psyche as much as in anything else.

Romans chapter 1 verse 28 says,

since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not

to be done. And what Paul's been doing is describing this cycle of sin, so to speak, that happens. And here he's pinpointing

a particular decision human beings make that cause their very minds to become debased. He says,

since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, now that's more than just saying there is a God, but it's to acknowledge
