Okay, let's get into today's story. In the early 60s, two high school classmates in South Carolina, named Carol and Reggie, fell in love with each other.

Every day in the halls they'd hold hands and they'd laugh with each other and whisper to each other,

and then outside of school they were inseparable.

But despite their seemingly perfect relationship, it didn't last long.

They both had different ideas about what the future should hold, and so after graduation,

they broke up. Reggie went on to join the U.S. Navy, where he served for a number of years all over the world.

He would at one point get married, but that marriage would end quickly, and then after he got out of

the military, he got a job at a railroad back at his hometown in South Carolina.

As for Carol, after graduation, she got married and divorced too, twice actually,
