Summary

Summertime.. and the livin' is easy...

This week I decided to bring you a show from the summer tour of 1990, one of my favorites.. this comes to us from Eugene Oregon from June 23, 1990. A fine afternoon show, Little Feat was the opening act and the fans were treated to what I think is a great display of the band at this period of time.

A powerful 'Feel Like a Stranger' opens things up, then Jerry gets a little funky (and sloppy with lyrics) with a 'West LA Fadeaway'. 'Me and My Uncle' transitions into a (rare for the year) 'Cumberland Blues' .. instead of the usual 'Big River'. Brent brings out 'Far From Me' another unusual choice, then Jerry plays a nice 'They Love Each Other'. Following Weir's 'Cassidy', 'Tennessee Jed' leads into a rocking 'Promised Land' to close the first set.

0:08.5	This week I decided to bring you a show from the summer of 1990.
0:11.8	This one comes to us from Autsen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon, June the 23rd, 1990.
0:17.0	It was a Saturday, Saturday afternoon, a little feet opened.
0:20.6	And from all accounts, it was a great set of shows.
0:24.3	Happened to be the last set of shows that Brent would play on the West Coast.
0:30.8	It starts out with a great feel like a stranger, lots of energy on that.
0:33.8	Then West LA fade away, provides a little funky relief.
0:37.7	Me and my uncle goes into Cumberland Blues instead of a big river.
0:41.8	It's one of the only three Cumberland Blues they played that year.
0:46.6	Then we get the far from me, which is also kind of rare for the time they only played,
0:50.3	Brent only played four of those in 1990.
0:53.3	And after far from me, which is one of my favorite Bronx tunes, by the way,
0:58.4	I hope you enjoyed as well.
0:59.9	We get they love each other and that's also somewhat rare.
1:03.2	There's only four of those in 1990.
1:05.2	Cassidy follows a nice Tennessee jet into the Promised Land closes his first set.
1:11.0	And next week we'll be listening to a really a monster second set.

1:18.3	All and the first set is very well, it's very, very good as well.
