Hello and welcome the Dead Pod for May 8th, 2020.

This is a professor, so glad you could pick us up this week.

This week for Mother's Day dead, we're going to bring you a show that was originally played

on Mother's Day.

Of course, this is a continuation of the show from May the 12th, 1974 University of Nevada.

Reno, Nevada. We're going to hear sets two and what is called three, although I'm not sure there was a break between these.

Excellent show a little ragged at times, as I said last week, there was a strong wind blowing.

It was an outdoor wall with sound show, and the wind's sometimes got in the way but all in all this is a pretty

miraculous piece of work and I think you'll like it.

Starts out with El Paso, U.S. Blues.

Greatest story ever told must have been the roses,

Bobby McGee, deal, around and around and then Mississippi half-step uptown

tuteloo. Then we get into the real meat of this one. It starts out with a truckin for the ages. This is one of the best truckins you'll ever here.

It then goes into a nobody's fault but mind jam and then a wonderful other one. This is really spectacular.

When it winds up it has a little mind-left body jam into Row Jimmy, Big River,

Ship of Fools, and Sugar Magnolia closes this long second set.
