Hello and welcome once again to unlock the Bible now. I'm Brother Scott Mitchell.

Very happy you can join us again for another message

in God's Word and hopefully something we say today will be edifying for you. Today we're going to

talk about the day spring and the promise of his coming. But before we begin, would you join me in

prayer? Precious Father, thank you for your mercy and grace.

We thank you that we have your righteousness in Christ Jesus.

And we're grateful that forgiveness of sins and eternal life is for us through Him.

Through His shed blood, we can live eternally with thee.

And we just give you all praise and

glory for that truth, for the word you've preserved, for the spirit you've given to teach us.

We ask now that we'll take comfort in the scriptures by thy spirit, and that it would teach us those

things and reveal that which you would have us learn. We pray it would bring glory and honor to

thy name and to the Lord Jesus Christ and would edify anyone within the sound of my voice,

asking in His precious and holy name. Amen. Again, we thank all of you that support us through your

prayers, through your donations, through subscribing to Bible Mysteries podcast, and we're going to continue

in another exhortational message today about the day spring. The term day spring is an

interesting metaphor for Jesus Christ. It is only used twice in a King James Bible, but there is a

direct reference to the day of the Lord in its usage.

Today we'll explore that usage and how it ties into the Sun S-U-N and the Son S-O-N of God

and why the event of Christ's second coming is being scoffed at today.

We're going to start with our focal passage in Job 38, verse 12.

God is speaking to Job out of the whirlwind, and he says,
