Day 256 of Heart Dive 365.

I'm your Bible study friend Kanoi.

Welcome with Heart Dive Podcast.

It's a bit of a bittersweet morning for me.

One of our Bible study friends has gone to be with Jesus,

and she was actually a friend of a friend, well, actually my best

friend's sister-in-law, who I was able to get to know whenever we were in my best friend's

wedding. And last year, she actually joined our Bible study early on, like right from the beginning.

But she had been fighting cancer for quite a while, and she became really involved in our group,

you know, commenting along the way.

And when I say bittersweet, it really rings true because everyone's been preparing for this day.

It's sweet in the sense that you know where she is.

You know that she's no longer in pain, but then there's almost nothing you can do to try to fill that hole that is left with her absence of so many people. And I'm not bringing this up to try to get any pity because I know where she's at and I'm happy about that. But again, it's just really sad, knowing she's left behind such a beautiful family, a husband, she's a mother, she's a daughter, she's a sister. And so I personally am just honoring our friend Rebecca today. And I know there are people out there who may have just recently lost someone in their families or a friend of theirs, or you might be on that journey with someone. And so our hearts just go out to you today. And I hope that you were able to find that comfort in Jesus, the same way that I have and the same way that I know Rebecca's family has. So I just wanted to be able to honor her today because she is a sweet spirit and we're going to miss her. But man, I just think, wow, she gets to actually sit with Jesus and ask him all the questions, all the Bible study questions. She gets to study with him, the book of Daniel herself.

So we are doing that today. We are starting the book of Daniel. Another really great prophet, just a really great man of faith.

Let's go ahead and pray, get into the word, and allow the spirit to speak to our hearts. Heavenly Father, thank you for this day. Thank you so much that we are still here on this earth. Thank you for the breath that we get to breathe. We know that as long as we are breathing. We still have purpose. We still have time left to do the things that you've called us to do. And so I just pray that we will all open up our

hearts to you right now. I pray that Holy Spirit, you will come in, you will invade, you will

cleanse our hearts, purify us, consecrate us, anoint us, make us holy again, Lord, forgive us for
