(41:53-1:03:53) – Sam King from the Lafayette Journal & Courier joins the program while making the drive to Indianapolis to preview Purdue’s game tonight against Western Kentucky, explains how important Braden Smith, Fletcher Loyer, and Lance Jones will be towards the team’s tournament success, highlights that the addition of Jones helps minimize the déjà vu from last year’s loss to Farleigh Dickinson, and weighs in on the possibility of players transferring from Purdue if the Boilermakers fall short of a deep tournament run.

(1:03:53-1:22:59) – Following their conversation with Sam King, Jake and James discuss the story of Johnell Davis with James covering him in high school. Additionally, they discuss why Kentucky lost to Oakland, and it’s not because of on court play. This leads to a larger conversation about NIL and the future of college basketball with Dartmouth becoming the first school to form a union with the basketball players.

(1:25:26-1:50:33) – Kevin Bowen from the Wake Up Call with KB & Andy joins the program for his weekly visit on the show to share his thoughts on the nervousness that Purdue fans are feeling right now, accesses if it matters if how Purdue wins tonight over Grambling, some things that stood out to him about the signing of Joe Flacco after doing some digging on him after his Baltimore Ravens days, and weighs in on James point that this season is riding on the health and development of Anthony Richardson.

(1:50:33-1:59:52) – Jake and James start the segment with Jake asking James a couple questions to get to know him a little bit. Additionally, they discuss how much of a story it will or won’t be if Jim Irsay doesn’t attend the owners meetings.
