0:13.4	For a lot of you, today's reading may have hit a tender spot because Jesus touches on
0:17.5	something that's really personal.
0:19.6	One of the things this shows us is that there's no area of our lives that is untouched by God.
0:23.9	No space he's restricted from or inactive in or that he doesn't care about and have plans
0:28.0	for.
0:29.0	That's one of the things about sovereignty.
0:30.5	It knows no bounds.
0:32.3	Sovereign means over all.
0:34.6	So when Jesus launches out with a sermon on divorce, some of you may have felt yourselves
0:38.5	tense up.
0:39.5	It's okay.
0:40.5	He can be trusted.
0:42.0	And if you read through his words and found that you didn't live up to them somehow,

0:46.4	The club is called Humanity because that's all of us.
0:48.6	We all fall short of Jesus' teachings, which is why he came to pay for our sins because
0:53.0	he knows we're not going to nail it.
0:55.3	And he doesn't just pay for our sins, he takes our shame.
0:58.8	Romans 8.1 says, there is therefore now no condemnation for those who were in Christ
1:02.8	Jesus.
1:04.2	So if you read through his teaching on divorce and felt ashamed, that is not what God
