| 1:25.5 | I'm Dan Schneier. |
| 1:26.5 | I'm joined by my co-ist Nicolato. You might have missed have missed us this a. You might have been expecting a podcast to drop. We do apologize for that. Both Nick and I decided late last night. I finally wrapped up with my CBS work at about 1.30. And I just decided, you know, it's probably best. We're both fried brains wise to take a little bit of a break, recoup, recover, give us time to digest the picks, dive more into the picks, everything like that. So today we're going to bring you a podcast just dedicated to the day three picks. Tomorrow morning, another podcast will drop with our overall draft takeaways. And then I know a lot of you even asking about the undrafted free agents, but that's not something we want to rush into at all. We're going to take our time on that, dive into those players. Nick's going to watch some tape. I'm going to see what I can get on those guys, too. And so that will come later this week, a podcast just dedicated fully to the undrafted free agents will take a deeper look into those guys because, hey, those guys make a team all the time across the NFL. Those guys end up being big guys, especially, you know, at the wide receiver position this year, I don't want to dive too much into that. But at the wide receiver position this year, I know the Giants avoided them in the draft, but that, because of how deep it was, it means it's probably the best UDFA wide receiver crop. you're going to get in a long time. The Giants took some shots there too. Anyway, Nick, how are you doing today now that you've had some time to recover a little bit? Refresh your mind and your body, everything like that. Doing well, man. You know, we were just really grinding the midnight oil, as they say, the last couple days. But, man, I really need your insight on |
| 2:51.3 | something, Dan. I really do, bro. Yo, tell me about Shane Lemieux, because I know you cover the NHL and everything like that, so I know you could probably have some insight here. Yes, yes, Nick. Well, actually, I've been told I should cover the NFL. This was Paul Detino. very good very objective very in-depth Giants beat reporter he called the a j epinez |
| 2:51.5 | a.J. Epinessa pick at 36, got that one exactly right, said if they weren't going to go up Vanessa, they went your tear gross modus. I heard that that one was also going to be the case. Oh, oh, wait, never mind. They went Xavier McKinney. But anyway, my NHL coverage is limited. Fortunately, that's something I've been suggested to do, but I don't have much background in it. I do know that Shane Lemieux is not actually related to Mary Lemieux, just as Carter Coughlin and other giant traffic is not actually related to Tom, anyone in that family. So that's probably the extent that I can give you on a Lemieux's hockey background and the background of Mario Lemieux. I do know his name, Mario Lemieux. I'm a big sports guy, Nick, outside of obviously the Giants we do this podcast. I've loved sports my whole life. But NHL is the one I've never really gotten into. I like it when I go to the games live and I feel like I can follow the puck really well live, especially, I mean, I'll say this. When I go to NFL games, you can give me second tier and third tier over the first tier any freaking day. I hate watching football from the first tier. I need that minimum. I need the second tier because I need to see how the play develops. I need to see how the safeties are aligned. I need to see everything. I hate that first-tier view. |
| 4:15.2 | But same thing goes for hockey for me. |
