Summary

Today we pray with the Fourth and Fifth Glorious Mysteries: the Assumption of Mary and her Coronation as Queen of Heaven and Earth. Fr. Mark-Mary reminds us that in the Assumption, we witness God’s faithfulness to Mary, and we renew our hope that, by the Holy Spirit, we too are destined for eternal glory. Her Magnificat becomes our pattern: rejoicing in what God has done, and trusting in what He will do. As we meditate on her Coronation, we honor Mary as both Queen and Mother, who prays that we might receive the grace to persevere in faith and echo her unwavering yes to God. Today’s focus is the mysteries of the Assumption and the Coronation of Mary as Queen of Heaven and we will be praying two decades of the Rosary.

1:03.7	As we pray with the fourth glorious mystery, we see Mary being assumed into heaven, body and soul. And we see Mary going where we hope
1:16.2	to follow, not just like wish to follow, but have a Christian hope of confidence to follow
1:22.1	through the power of the Holy Spirit. And we call to mind the pattern of Mary's Magnificat, wherein
1:27.2	first she celebrates the great things the Lord has done for her, and then she prophesies, sings joyfully about what God will do for all of his people. And Mary, who is faithful, Mary whose fiat was persevering, and never wavering, never taken back.
1:46.2	This yes to all things.
1:51.6	May we celebrate with joy, this promise fulfilled in Mary's life,
1:57.7	and be renewed in confidence that all of the promises of the Father to us will also be fulfilled.
