Summary

We continue deepening our practice of relational prayer, focusing on Jesus the Son. We place ourselves in his presence not abstractly, but intimately, as we step into the moment with him. This prayer time is not only for today’s encounter, but also for forming the habit of being with Christ so that in future decades, you can return to this space, this awareness, this relationship. Today’s focus is the mysteries of the Nativity and Presentation and we will be praying two decades of the Rosary.

1:04.3	the decades. Today we are going to be praying two decades. Today we'll be praying the third and fourth joyful mysteries, the nativity,
1:14.9	and the presentation of our Lord in the temple.
1:20.3	And we're going to be focusing on praying these two decades while in relationship with the sun, while in relationship with Jesus.
1:32.3	And part of the hope of this is certainly that it may be fruitful for this time of prayer,
1:37.3	but also as we practice this habit of relational prayer, hopefully this is something that we can access and return to while praying again in the
1:50.0	future for many years to come.
1:52.8	My encouragement today as we are placing ourselves in the presence of Jesus, being aware
1:57.7	of his presence, is to practice being specific, to think of some details.
2:05.7	For example, like, how old is Jesus and something that perhaps you can explore in your prayers,
2:13.0	praying with Jesus and to Jesus at different periods of his life.
2:20.2	Like what's the setting?
2:22.0	Are you sitting? Are you standing?
2:24.4	Is it day or night?
2:28.4	And look at the eyes of Jesus.
