0:56.9	Couple things to keep in mind as we're listening to this scripture. We have the kingdom of Judah now,
1:01.7	right? This is the period of the divided kingdom. The kingdom in the north is the kingdom of Israel.
1:06.7	And that's the 10 tribes in the north. They're essentially what you might call the rebellious tribes of Israel. So when we refer to Israel now at this point in our story, this is in some ways,
1:18.0	I guess we'll say this, the kingdom of Judah in the south, which is only two tribes.
1:22.2	Judah is the bloodline from David all the way to Jesus. And so this is the line that we're

1:28.0	preoccupied with. At the same time, God had promised that the people of Israel would be blessed,
