Oratio Gentilesky.

Now a brief introduction to our artist and artwork.

Oratio Lomi Gentilesky was born in the year 1563.

He died in the year 1639 and he was an Italian painter.

Born in Tuscany, he began his career in Rome painting in a manner of style.

Much of his work consisting of painting the figures within the decorative scheme of other artists.

After the year 1600, he came under the

influence of the more naturalistic style of Caravaggio, and he received important commissions
