So before we get into it, let's go ahead and pray and prepare our heart so we can fill up our cups a little bit this morning. Heavenly Father, we thank you so much. And I know I just said morning, Lord, for some people, it's nighttime. And so I just pray wherever we're at, whatever time of day it is, God, that you will be there with us in our midst, that you will meet everybody in their room right now. Let them know that your presence is dwelling within, not just in their spirits, in their hearts, God, but all

around, in their room. Fill every corner. I just pray, Lord, that this time with you will be one

that is sacred and uninterrupted. If there's any distractions trying to get us away from this reading

today, Lord, I pray that you'll silence them, silence the notification, all the dings and all the

bells, so that we can just

fully concentrate on you today. I pray that you will clear out any junk that might be in our

ears that is keeping us from being able to hear your voice. Will you let the scales that might be

on our eyes fall off in this moment so we can see you clearly? I pray, Holy Spirit, that you will

get us out of the way, that we will move, Lord, so that you can then come and fill every space that we have been trying to fill in on our own will.

We make room for you today to do what only you can do.

Please forgive us of our sins, Lord.

If there's anything that we are not aware of, please bring it to our minds today so that we can be changed from glory to glory. Help us also

to forgive others, and please do not lead us into temptation. For yours is the kingdom and power and

glory forever. In Jesus' name, amen. So we are starting off in Psalm 50 and take a look at this

So starting off here in Psalm 50, a wisdom psalm by Asaph, and this is the first of the 12 Psalms that Asaph wrote. Of course, he was one of the main musicians in David's time. Verse one, the mighty one, God, the Lord. So notice he is using three different names of God here, the mighty one or Almighty. He uses God,
