but when $765 million is plunked into your lap, guaranteed, none of it deferred.

It's hard to turn that deal down.

I definitely wasn't surprised.

He had been telling us he was going to do this since he was 19 years old, basically.

When you hire Scott Boris, this is your plan.

You are going to get to free agency.

And when you are asked to sign a $440 million deal with the nationals and you say,

I'd like to get to free agency.

And then when House Starmor says, I'd like to negotiate with you during the season, would that be okay?
