As we sit here exactly two weeks from election Eve, the tension is mounting, the fever is

spiking, and the sporadic fits of full-blown panic are erupting among

hair-triggered Democrats across the country many of them reacting by which I

mean over-reacting to every flutter in the polling averages regardless of how

statistically insignificant they are for how predictably irrelevant they are or to

cable news chiron's designed precisely to scare the shit out of viewers,

or to random and frequently apocryphal anecdotes

peddled by friends and foes alike,

or worst of all, to tidbits gossip

or other stray gibberish,

the encounter in the foul-fedded digital cesspool, formerly known as Twitter, now officially called

X, but more accurately described as Elon Musk's Global Bot Farm and Personal Clearinghouse of

Misinformation, Disinformation and pro-Trump propaganda.

And yet in the face of all that, Kamala Harris's campaign for president remains cool, calm, and collected,

and decidedly upbeat, while at the same time never sounding Polyanish or spouting mindless happy talk.

The reasons for that collective disposition are many for sure, but no small part of it

derives from the presence at the commanding heights of the Harris campaign of David Plough.
