Summary

#322. Well, that's better. The narrative surrounding José Mourinho's side had become a little negative, not least because of United's defeat at Stamford Bridge last month. Two resounding victories at Watford and then Arsenal have changed all that. Ed & Paul briefly look back on defeat to Basel in the Champions League in what was effectively a dead rubber that is very unlikely to alter United's European fate. Then there's United's comfortable win at Vicarage Road and a dramatic victory at the Emirates to discuss. Also on the show a look ahead to games against CSKA Moscow in Europe and the derby with Manchester City at Old Trafford. No Question About That is available on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Stitcher, Spotify, YouTube, Amazon Music and all good podcast apps. deserve to lose and the the pretty prosaic victory over Brighton I did not see

0:51.6

what was coming next no I mean the Basel game was we'll do this in less than two minutes.

0:56.7

The Basel game was strange because in the first half we just absolutely battered them and it looked like we could

1:01.3

score at will just missed a few key

1:03.4

chances and then in the second half the the dead robiness of it all overtook

1:08.0

united and and Basel got that late winner which they in the end deserved.

1:13.2

But we did, we were really good in the first half of that game.

1:18.4

Which everyone obviously understandably kind of forgot at the end of it all.

1:24.7

But that game didn't matter at all the Brighton game mattered a lot more and we had the the Marcy Allen Rashford both in the

1:31.5

starting lineup with Lukaku again.

1:33.7

This time not such a feast of football as it had been against Newcastle.

1:37.5

No it was a tough game.

1:38.8

Just something a bit slow about United against Brighton.

1:41.4

Just failed to really get going at all, ever.

1:45.0

Which didn't really make sense, given the nature of the team.
