Welcome to the Rubin report. I am not Dave Rubin. I am Michael Knowles, but we are here because,

you know, Dave has been away now for an entire month. He's been in bliss. He's been in paradise

away from all the misery. And we are going to spoil all of that for them. This is the Rubin report.

Welcome back. Knowles, I have literally no idea what's going on in the world. We have sat here

for a few minutes talked about life. Yes, but not news. You did not reveal anything. No. I truly

know nothing. I absolutely nothing. I know. People don't believe it, but it's true. When you asked me

to host your coming back show, I knew there'd be a lot of fun. We've seen it in years past.

Ben is done at Glenn has done it. Oh, you know, there's always some crazy news.

You have no idea. This year, you know, they always say this is the most important

life in our lifetimes. This is the craziest year of news in my entire lifetime. And you thought

things, you thought things were bad in July, probably, right? Well, everyone thought things were bad

in July. I can tell you this. So first off, in a weird way, even though, obviously, whatever you're

about to tell me about, like you could almost tell me anything at this point. You could tell me aliens

invaded you could tell me Joe Biden's head exploded. Yeah, you could tell me coronavirus was a hoax.

You could tell me half the country has it. You could tell me almost anything. And I could pretty much

believe it because that's how bananas the world has become. But oddly, getting off the grid this year,

and this is the fourth time I've done this August off the grid thing, in a weird way, this was the

easiest because in years past, I traveled, I went to the gym, went to public places, restaurants,

restaurants. And in those places, they often have televisions where they're showing the news or I

was in an airport. I was home this whole time. We moved, but I was home. So I had no people around

me anywhere. And in other years, if I went to the store, people would come up to me like,

Dave, I know you're off the grid, but come on, you have your phone on you don't you like, like
