John Singleton’s 2001 film “Baby Boy” explores the theme of matriarchal culture in black communities, and 20 years later, it looks like a documentary reflecting modern-day society. The baby-mama culture is revealing its damage on men like Kevin Durant, LeBron James, and Nick Cannon.
