comics, whether you want to admit it or not, have been around almost at the beginning of mankind,

you know, the caves of Lascal are comics. The Sistine Chapel literally has sequential panels showing

narrative change over time. They don't have word balloons, but it's literally a fucking comic on

the walls, not on the ceiling. The ceiling is just a giant teblum, but like you look at the walls

and it's just, you know, it's biblical stories told through image and sustaining images over time,

which is what a comic is. I found them when I was really young, probably four or five,

I was really obsessed with the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew and Box Card Children kind of boy and girl

adventurer detective style stories, and we were at the library and they had a large collection of

AirJays Tin Tin comics, the Bonesine about a, you know, young boy reporter and his talking dog,

and I lost my mind. I was just like, oh yeah, oh no, yeah, it is, this, this is, this is what it is,
