this week, a lot to go a whip around every week through different sports, through different sports

business items that have caught my eye and caught my attention. There's always things to talk about.

NFL, NBA, ESPN, I'm going to talk about baseball. I'm going to talk about it all today on the business of sports.

So let's get right to it.

NFL, there's rumors all abounding now about Devante Adams of the, for now,

for now, Las Vegas Raiders, where he might end up soon, reportedly has requested

a trade.

Reportedly, teams are interested.

And the reportedly part is one I want to talk about first. Listen, as you may know already, if you don't, and certainly you know by listening to me, don't believe what you hear. Take everything

with a grain of salt, discount it by 20% at least. Because teams interested,

supposedly, and Devante Adams are not the teams that are really serious about it. Because

here's what happens. I've played this game for a long time. Whether I was an agent or a team executive,

agents call teams they're talking about, maybe they're talking about another player.

Maybe they're doing a contract with a team for another player and they have a player like

Devante Adams who may be traded, but you need to drive up the price.

Hey, I had agents ask me all the time, hey, Andrew, can I tell the media, pick your favorite

media source, that the Packers are interested in signing the player if it's free agency or

trading for the player? And my response was always, sure, if that drives up the price another

team has to pay, if that drives up the trade compensation, another team has to pay, if that drives up the agita and angst for another team, sure. Knock yourself out. Of course. If you want to use us for leverage, no skin off our backs.

It's the same thing.

You know, it's like when agents would say to me, hey, can I just tell so-and-so in the media
