And the Lakers start a three-game and four-night stretch tonight against the Phoenix Suns at Phoenix. Will be the third time the Lakers have played Phoenix so far this season.

That'll be followed by San Antonio tomorrow and then back at home on Friday.

And so, Dee, we had talked in the previous kind of five-game stretch of how the Lakers really needed to bank their wins.

And they did.

And that's going to be very important in part because if you zoom out on the Lakers schedule, it's not just this five-game stretch.

This is one of the more difficult months or so of the season between now and I would say

through Christmas.

And that was the stretch of the year last year, D, where the team kind of fell apart.

They went three and ten in that stretch right after the in-season tournament.

And so this has been a week, a bit of the ghosts of the past rearing their ugly head, right?

Some missed free throws in the clutch, certainly not the first time we've seen that with this crew.

It's been Denver in a game where the Lakers, hey, you look good for a while, then they get totally destroyed.

That's another thing, D, that the schedule breaks very similarly to last year. And as the season

starts settling in, as Reddick becomes less and less of a new coach, I think it's important
