Washington Commander's defensive line at Duran Payne has been suspended without pay for one game

for an active unsportsman-like conduct during Sunday's game against the Lions.

During the second quarter, Payne was disqualified for striking Detroit's Amman Rae St. Brown.

Payne will be eligible to return to the commander's active roster Monday, November 17th,

following the team's November 16th game in Madrid against the Miami Dolphins.

So Duran Payne suspended one game without pay due to his actions in yesterday's loss to the Detroit lines.

I don't think this is a surprise to anybody.

Anytime you punch another player in the league, you're going to be eligible to be

suspended. And that's what's happened here.

I mean, it's just one more down. One more guy down. It's going to make it that much tougher to stop H.N. I mean, I have to find a site that tracks man games lost due to injury. I'm guessing that can't be that hard to find. the commanders have to be probably top two or three team in the league as far as man games lost. Oh, man games lost, yeah. I would think. I mean, I can't think of many more injured teams. Maybe the Niners are up there. I don't know. You'd have to look at, I mean, there's been a lot of guys injured across the league. But the one we really focus on is this one. Right. You know, I wanted to look up what's the biggest drop-off because, you know, it's hard to, it's hard to remember. But this team won 12 games last year and a couple of playoff games. Yeah, 14 games. 14 and 5. So it seems like historically some of the worst drop-offs, one of your turnarounds. Back in 1994, the Houston Oilers, you'd have to look that team up.

I guess the year before, they went 12 wins.

Oh, no, the night, yeah, 93, they went 12 and 4.

In 94, they went 2 and 14.

So it was a 10-game drop-off?

That's happened twice that I could tell.

The Texans in 2012 won 12 games, went 12 and 4.

And then the following season, they went 2 and 14, a 10-win drop-off.

We're currently on pace for a 9-win drop-off, which goes back to the Bears from 2001, who went 13 and 3 and then fell to 4 and 12 the following season.
