Now you might ask what's so exciting about a radio show in view of all the television I do.

Well, most of my professional life, I have been saying words somebody else wrote for me.

Oh, I've had some pretty wonderful writers.

But nevertheless, I've been playing a role.

And now I just want to be me, Lucille Ball.

You know, through the years, people have written me thousands of letters asking about my personal life, my family, my home, my friends, my experiences and show business.

And now, radio gives me the opportunity to answer them in person.

So you see, you really gave me the idea for my radio show, and I hope you continue to write me
