Do you know how many prophets there are in the Bible.

Danny Ben-Gigi, our guest, is an expert in Hebrew, and we're going to talk about the Hebrew prophets among many, many other things.

Thank you so much, Pastor Gary. I'm really pleased to be here.

And we have so many things and so little time.

I'd like to talk about...

Danny does some marvelous work in putting together computer programs that enable you

to find out things about Hebrew, the Hebrew language, that you could never find out any other

way. And we're going to pick a few examples to begin with today. And let's talk about all those prophets. How many prophets

are there in the Bible? Well, there are 65. We put them in the prophetic lexicon here. And

we kind of try to research, but you know they are dispersed throughout the Bible. So if you

were to ask somebody,

how do you find them? You can't really. You have to read every word in the Bible and see

if there is a reference to prophecy and say, oh, that's a prophet. So we put together 65,

including the large, you know, the well-known prophets. And you use the Hebrew English lexicon, prophetic lexicon.

And this is phenomenal.

This thing works on Windows, it works on Mac, and you put this in your computer and if you

learn to navigate your way around, which by the way won't take you very long, you suddenly can look up virtually anything in Hebrew you want to find out, right?

Almost virtually. Not only on the computer, everybody can do.

We made it available to work on iPads, on tablets, on phones, any smart device,

even away from the home, it will show every aspect.

As to the 65 prophets and prophetesses too, there are nine of them.
