Welcome back, everybody, to the Football Guys Daily Update. You give us 10 minutes. We'll give you

everything you need to know to make you the most informed fantasy football player in your league.

I'm Mike Dempsey along with Football Guys' own Bob Harris. Bob, before you know, week two will be

underway tomorrow night, Washington in Green Bay. And Dan Quinn says he has zero concerns about

Jaden Daniels' wrist. He had worked fully this week, but did appear on the injury report. It looked like it was precautionary. Is Daniels a top five quarterback this week the way we drafted him to be? By the way, in addition to the zero concerns about Daniels, how Quinn did suggest that Packers might want to hold Michael Parsons out this week. Very kind of him to make that suggestion. I'm sure he'd love that.

And the pressure was an issue against the Giants.

Daniels completed 16 of 21 passes for 204 yards in a touchdown on dropbacks with four

or fewer pass rushers.

He had 121 passer rating on those passes, the second highest for his career.

But he only completed three of nine for 29 yards against the blitz. That's the lowest single game passer rating against the second highest of his career, but he only completed three of nine for 29 yards

against the Blitz. That's the lowest single game passer rating against the Blitz of his career,

like 43. Last year is 114 passer rating against the blitz was the highest mark for any rookie

quarterbacks since at least 2018. So I'm not looking at week one as determinative of anything,

including Daniels quarterback 13 finish. But I will note he was

one of the 13 quarterbacks to finish with 20 plus fantasy points. So it was a big week for

quarterbacks. He was one of those quarterbacks. I'm guessing he'll be fine as we go forward.

His backfield mate, Austin Echler, was limited in practice on Monday and Tuesday. Any concern that you are aware of here? And regardless of his status, should managers be looking to get Bill Kroski Merritt in their lineups this week if they didn't in week one? First, I don't get any sense of concern for Echler. Short turnaround Monday wasn't an actual practice. But then, you know, the limited Tuesday, makes sense for a veteran. We'll see a lot of that. But also, Bill is a thing, right? Jacori Croski married. He had the touchdown. He had four runs of 10 plus yards against the Giants. He's going to be a plus for Daniels, the commanders, and fantasy investors if he can keep delivering those chunk plays. And like everything we've heard from OTAs on has been super positive.

So far, Kroski Merritt's lived up to that.

By the way, Noah Brown also limited, but not too many fantasy managers this early in the season

looking to get Noah Brown in the lineup.

Regardless, he should be able to play in tomorrow night's contest.
