Thanks a lot, Harvey, for inviting me.

Yeah, we spoke many years ago when I Skyped you into my class at the Technological de Monterey,

the only university in all of Latin America

that is invited to Davos and officially, I think, a world economic forum partner. And, you know,

one of your early groundbreaking books we discussed dealt with NATO state terrorism, as I call it,

and Operation Gladiio. And I'm happy to see that you have new books in English. I've got the new one

right here. USA, the Ruthless Empire from Skyhorse. And honestly, if I were still teaching international

relations, I'm not kidding. This would have been a signed reading for my students. It literally

covers everything I taught on US foreign policy. And maybe if you want to tell us, you know, just start with the book, you know,

how you came about writing it and, you know, why you wrote USA Ruthless Empire.

The idea really was to give somebody who doesn't know much about U.S. imperialism at all an overview.

So I really start with Christopher Columbus over so with the Europeans going over the Atlantic,

and then fighting in North America, and then the Declaration of Independence, and then how they

grabbed the colonies from the Spanish in 1898.

You know, when in Cuba the main exploded, then they said the Spanish are responsible although

they were not responsible and then the Americans take over Cuba, they take over the Philippines,

Puerto Rico and Guam.

And that's really in 1898 when US imperialism starts, I think.

And then in the role played in World War I,

the role played in World War II, including the Pearl Harbor history, is in it. And then the
