Dan Vekhter talks with J about his work as a neurologist, the nature of consciousness and recognizing spirit. I hope that this holiday time has treated you well. I hope that there was some joy in it for you.

And while time does not really exist, I do still find it useful sometimes to use this arbitrary

And I have to say, it seems like the yoga world got the memo this year that trying to sell discounted memberships

in January capitalizing on New Year's resolutions and everybody feeling fat after eating

all this shit that we ate over the holidays. That feels tone deaf and I don't see people doing it. And I don't think

we did it last year either because everybody was so scared and everything was happening. But for years

and years, those of you who've had yoga centers who have just been around in the yoga world,

no, every year, there's always the New Year's resolution promotions.

And I did it for the first couple years I had a yoga center.

And then I swore it off.

Those of you've been on my email list for long enough, might remember.

I was like, I'm done.

I'm not doing this anymore because it just felt so wrong that we do this,
