"I was at a friend's house and on my way to a church activity and I had my scriptures. My friend asked me "What are those?" And I said it's my Bible, Book of Mormon, Pearl of Great Price, and Doctrine and Covenants. These are our sacred books in my faith. And he goes "What's the Book of Mormon?" I started to describe what we believe about the Book of Mormon. I specifically said, we believe that some ancient Israelites left Israel and migrated to the Americas. As I was talking with him about this, I got my witness and felt like my whole body was on fire."

0:33.2	It is so good at illustrating, you know,

0:41.6	to gain a more mature testimony and I love that.
0:45.2	So without further ado, I would love to hear your story.
0:51.0	Okay, my story.
0:52.2	Well, my story, well, my story has evolved a little bit as I've kind of learned more about how life works, okay?
1:05.0	So it might be a little bit different in some respects
1:08.8	than I've told it before because I just kind of like
1:11.5	see some things a little bit differently than I used to but you know I I grew up in Southern California
1:21.6	I grew up in the church, had a couple of experiences during my teenage years that really kind of showed me some realities about the gospel.
1:36.0	To begin with, I had a testimony,
1:41.0	I received a witness of Christ when I was like 13, 14 years old. And later on like in seminary we read the book of, I think my junior year in high school.
1:55.0	And I just remember going to seminary. I actually, that year we went to seminary at a Jewish synagogue in our area.
2:06.0	We traded buildings with some with a Jewish community in our area.
2:12.0	Our building went under renovation and they let us use their building.
2:16.0	And their building went under renovation and we let them use our building.
2:21.0	So I attended that year of seminary in a Jewish synagogue. It was really cool.
2:27.0	Yeah, I just felt something happened during that year, reading the Book of Mormon every day for seminary, by far my best year school-wise and I just felt happier every single day. I felt like more
