Hi, I'm Dornow Porter and welcome back to So Lucky,

where each week I go deep with my guest and explore all of the sides to all of their stories. Their highs and lows, their hopes and fears, they're lucky

and their unlucky moments. My guest for you this week is writer and actor Daisy Haggard. She is the

mastermind behind Back to Life, the brilliant series that she co-wrote and stars in. Now, I live in L.A., but Daisy lives in London.

So you can imagine how I pounced on her when she was in L.A. for a week and I made a cam over to my house and

be a guest on my podcast. I'm not sure if she really wanted to, but she did it. And for that, I am very

grateful. I hope you love this episode. There is a cameo from my son, Art, who just knew to

highlight the point that we were making about what it's like being a working parent. So Daisy and I

talks about periods, which we both love to discuss, how she's becoming more focused and creative in

her work since having kids. The difference that having women in charge makes to everybody's

working lives and the importance of play.
