Good morning in the news this morning. Most service has been restored after multiple brush-fire

s near train tracks in New Jersey, disrupted New Jersey Transit and M-Trak Rail Service along

the Northeast corridor on Wednesday afternoon. Trains began being impacted by the fires at

245 just before the start of the evening rush. At one point, New Jersey Transit said service

was suspended on its Northeast corridor line between New York Penn Station and Trenton.

It led to a commuting hassle for train riders, as large crowds gathered at Penn Station and

were left to figure out how to get home after the shutdown. Rail service has since resumed

with significant delays in both directions between New York Penn Station and Trenton.

Customers are being advised to transfer at Princeton Junction for Eastbound service

back to McCutcheon Edison and New Brunswick as they will bypass that on the Westbound Service.

Was it you, Preston, that told me you were on a train?

There's a story just recently that getting stalled on a train and there was some work being done.

Yeah, it was a complete stop. We were on our way to Boston and that was it.

We had to stop. And it was another train that had a problem.

Right. We had to stop and pick up all those passings and take them to the next station.

And it was pretty wild because we stopped in the middle of nowhere and these people got

off of this other train and they got on ours. And I guess there were enough seats available.
