A winter weather advisory is an effect for Lancaster in Berks County, the Lehigh Valley

and the Polkinoes from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. today.

The storm looks like it's going to bring mixed precipitation to the area, but for most

of us, we'll see heavy rain this afternoon.

No, but maybe some thunderstorms.

Is that wild?

Yeah, I know.

And this is the second one in January.

North of the Lehigh tunnel and through the Polkinoes, there could be three to six inches

of snow and then a change to an icy mix in the Lehigh Valley, expect one to three inches

before the change to rain.

Temperatures are expected to rise quickly today.

Northern Chester and upper Bucks and Montgomery counties, a slushy coating is possible before

a quick change to rain.

They're seeing saying that we'll see mostly rain in this area and heavy rain in the

area may cause ponding of water and localized flooding for the evening commute.
