Hello everyone, Oliver G here of the Earful Tower podcast. I want to say, first up, thanks for being here.

I want to say, secondly, I'm back in Paris. I think a lot of you probably didn't know I wasn't in

Paris because I didn't really go on about it. A few of you messaged me about it. I was in Sweden.

I went over Sweden. My wife's Swedish. We were over there showing our son to his grandparents

on his mom's side.

And it was really nice, but now I'm back here and I'm ready to go.

And I figured what better way to see what's happening in the city of Paris

and to answer your many questions about daily life in Paris?

What better way to do it than to literally ask you guys

for your questions and to answer them. So that's what I did. I sent out a picture on

Instagram and on Facebook and in my weekly newsletter and I said, what do you want to know?

The only caveat was I wasn't interested in practical questions, travel advice questions, things about vaccinations,

because I'm not the guy to answer that. I'm the guy to entertain you, to distract you.

Why would I, you know, if I answered how Americans can translate their vaccination passes to

Parisian ones, then I would surely have to do it for Australians too and for Canadians and for

people in Egypt, who knows? So I'm not that guy. Those questions aren't going to be answered,

but I can answer questions about daily life in Paris. So I think you're going to like this episode

because I'm going to answer probably about 20 or 30 of those questions. I'm going to do it in a very

fun way. But first, let's have a little bit of a jingle.

Now, before we get into anything, I want to give you a little sort of update on the situation

here because I did something really cool yesterday and it doubles as a good way to explain

what's happening in the city right now.
