Jared Polinfronos photo.com and this is the Daily Fro. We'll call it December 14th,

0:10.2

2020, the time is now 203 in the PM. This is the second episode I'm doing today, but I'm going to

0:16.5

hold it back and just put it out, you know, the day after, but you wouldn't know that because

0:20.4

you're going to be listening to it. Because I was just sitting here editing photos. I was talking to someone

0:26.3

about something and about YouTube, and I'm going to discuss that in a minute. And I just felt like I needed

0:31.5

to sit and talk again to the microphone. But anyway, you want to text me? 313710-109? Please text me. 3137109. Let me know what you think of

0:42.9

these episodes. Let me know what questions you have. There's a good chance I will reply over there,

0:47.7

being that there's 400, 300, 435 people who follow. So you have a better chance of getting me on the text line

0:56.4

than through any other channel at this point to get me to reply to you. It's most likely

1:01.1

going to be there. But what I would suggest is you don't ask me what camera to buy and you don't

1:05.8

ask me what lens to buy and you don't ask for that type of stuff. If you genuinely want to have,

1:10.6

you generally have a

1:11.5

question that isn't really gear related, you have a better chance of me answering it. If it's going to be

1:16.0

gear related, like, what should I buy? I generally kind of ignore them at this point because it's just

1:20.7

a lot. I would be nonstop. And I'm not a lawyer. I'm not going to charge you for every answer, though I won't answer everything, but I do offer the mentorship thing. Anyway, so I was just talking to a friend about

1:33.0

the YouTube world, and the interesting thing is the photo niche is a small niche. When you look at

1:41.8

the tech world on YouTube, it's massive. When you look at the

1:45.1

phone world, it's massive. The computer tech stuff, it's massive. Millions and millions of

1:50.6

views, people are paying attention to that. And not so much in the photo world. Not everybody

1:54.8

wants to see the photo stuff. And, you know, there aren't terribly too many massive YouTubers in the photosphere.

2:02.9

Like Peter McKinnon is probably one of the largest with his 8 to 10 million views a month.

2:08.8

And for comparison, we do 2 to 3 million depending on the month and the content we do and how much content we put out.
