So I'm going to talk about going to Washington, D.C. yesterday and what I was doing there

and what the experience was like, which is that's the main focus of what I want to talk about today.

I had things to say for this roundtable about the Section 512 of the copyright law, which is part

of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

And honestly, it's confusing as hell.

The gist of it that I, the way that I understand it is that 512 says that Internet service providers like Google and Facebook and all the big, you know, Twitter, Instagram, all these big

people have to have a way for somebody to complain about copyright or to say that you

infringed on my copyright. So there has to be a way that they can question that. So in YouTube,

there's a way to submit a copyright inquiry saying that, oh, somebody stole my video and re-uploaded it so you have to physically submit it as a user. It's a way to submit a copyright inquiry saying that, oh, somebody stole my video and re-uploaded
