The time now is 1039 p.m. This is episode number 240 where I sit down sometime during the day to share

giving me a text message. So earlier in the day, I did a episode called

A New Car. Should I review it? Screw your resolutions because I talked about a lot of different stuff.

Now, when I talked about buying the car, I talked about how I went in there with the idea that I was

putting no money down because I said, I want to put no money down.

And for whatever reason, they ran the numbers and the numbers they gave me initially was with $2,500 down.

And I didn't want to do that.

And the title of this episode is, don't get screwed, do the math.

Be smart about it, basically. I didn't say to be smart in the title.

But yeah, don't get screwed. Do the math. And I want to explain this to you because at the time,

it didn't make much sense to me. I had to, luckily I had somebody else who I could reach out to

who ran the numbers and told me exactly what

I should be doing.

What ends up happening in these situations is you're not clearly thinking because something

just changed and you weren't prepared for that.

And that's kind of what some of these car dealerships bank on is the confusion factor and one of the most

confusing things is i said no money down and like well your payment's going to be higher than if

you put money down and then they come in and they're like well if you put x amount down we will

waive the first month's payment and And so you get to thinking, well, I mean,

if that, I mean, right then, and that's going to save me money. So if I put down the money up front,
