Not a lot of people or not as many as normal listen to it. Maybe because it was the weekend. Maybe because I didn't post it on YouTube as a in the community tab.

But anyway, check that one out. It was a little rantey McRanterson late last night that I did.

But I got something else to talk about today. There's certain types of people you want to work with

and then others that make decisions that make you go, I don't want to work with this person.

I don't like where they're coming from. I don't like what they stand for based off of the

decision or decisions that they're making. So in another business that I'm involved in, we are actively

seeking other people to get involved and putting out proposals and taking counter offers.

And the interesting part of it is we met with somebody who was really cool, good smooth talker,

comes from a nice background in terms of business acumen and what they've done,

and you feel secure enough to make an offer.

And then you make an offer that's contingent upon success.

Meaning it's not based off of like, here's a salary and this is what you're going to get paid, especially when it's early on in a business.

It's if you hit these goals and these incentives, you're going to make X and you don't have to put money into this, and you already see that something's growing and in a good place. And then when the person

comes back is like, well, I really need to put money in my pocket every week or every month, just

something in lieu of taking a percentage, that brings up a, that raises a big red flag to me. That raises a

big red flag to me because I don't want somebody who's there just collecting a paycheck and

looking for money and it will defer, we'll turn down taking equity because they want to

take the cash. That's a scary thought.
