Hello, once again, and welcome to the first pitch podcast on Pitcher List.

My name is Trevor Huth, and we are going to dive into some baseball today.

It's a fun day of games.

Let's see what happened first of all.

Of course, as always, we're going to start with the news.

The Giants made a flurry of roster moves. Matt Chapman has been activated from the IL as he'll

return and, well, we of course be playing some third base for them. Eric Miller, who's been

getting a lot of work for them, is heading to the 15-day IL with-day I.O. They've also selected the contract of Scott Alexander and DFAD, Sergio Alcantara,

who they recently selected the contract of. He played a few times.

Didn't see him having too much success. So he has been DFAed and will now enter that land.

After being released by the Reds recently, Jamer Candelario has signed with the Yankees on a minor

league deal.

He received multiple offers.

He decided on the Yankees.

And it's a path where if he does perform in AAA, he should be able to find

his way back to a major league roster.

You know, they have flexibility with Jazz Chisholm Jr.

And anytime they really needed somebody, I mean, Jorbit Vivas got a lot of playing time during

Chisholm's injury.

So there's going to be an opening in the Yankees.
