0:41.2	kicking things off with the bad news as infielder Casey Schmidt was placed on the 10-day IL with a wrist bone bruise.
0:48.4	Looks like Christian Koss will continue to cover Schmidt at the hot corner.
0:52.2	He's actually been leading off for the Giants in recent days.
0:55.3	He's coming off four straight multi-hit games.
0:57.6	So costs will take over at the hot corner for the Giants.
1:00.5	In a corresponding move, Tyler Fitzgerald was recalled from the miners.
1:04.2	He will reclaim everyday second base duties in San Francisco, which will force Brett wisely
1:10.1	into a bench roll. that's all in a corresponding
1:12.6	move to Casey Schmidt's IL placement.
1:15.5	Next, we have starting pitcher Zach Eflin, who was placed on the 15-day IL with lower back
1:19.4	discomfort.
