Let's dive into everything baseball related from Wednesday, June 18th.

We'll start it off, as always, with the

transactions, injuries, news, and notes from around the league, and we'll walk away from Wednesday

without any notable IL placements. We'll move right into our transactions, starting with

starting pitcher Justin Verlander, who was activated from the 15-day IL to start versus the Guardians.

He had been returning from a pictorial strain that kept him out for a few weeks.

Verlander tossed four and two-thirds innings, allowing seven hits and three-hund runs while walking

one and striking out six, inducing 12 whiffs with 30% CSW across 83 pitches.

I'm rostering Verlander in the majority of standard leagues right now.

I feel like with the Giants behind him, he's got a pretty good shot at a win and has displayed the ability to sometime have a higher strikeout ceiling. Still six

strikeouts here in less than five innings. It's pretty solid from Burlander. Hopefully he can

lock down the ratios moving forward. Tristan Beck was optioned to the miners in a corresponding

move. The Giants also activated catcher Patrick Bailey from the 10-day IL he had been out

with a neck strain and will return to being the Giants' everyday catcher.

Logan Porter was optioned to the miners in a corresponding move.
