Let's dive into everything baseball related from Tuesday, June 17th.

We'll start it off as always with the transactions, injuries, news, and notes from around the league, kicking things off with the bad news as starting pitcher Bowden Francis or Bowden Francis is probably Bowden.

He was placed on the 15-day IL with a shoulder impingement.

So for all those wondering how long he would hold on to his spot in the Toronto

rotation with the way that he's been performing this year, you'll no longer have to wonder

because now he's headed to the IL.

He will not be in the Blue Jays rotation at least for the next couple of weeks in a

corresponding move.

Relief pitcher Justin Bruel. Brul, see, we got all the difficult to pronounce names here.

B-R-U-I-H-L, Briel, selected from the minors in a corresponding move.

They also, the Blue Jays, also added relief pitcher, or Paxton Schultz, who was recalled

for the minors as well as they designated Eric Swanson for assignment in a somewhat surprising

move, but it's been a while since Swanson was an effective relief pitcher.

Next, we have starting pitcher Tyler McGill, who was placed on the 15-day IL with an elbow sprain.

Very concerning.

However, he said there is no structural damage.
