It is officially transfer portal season, which is a lot. It's a lot for fans.

Iowa State right now has lost two players to the portal. Cade Calderman entered earlier this weekend.

And then Dominic Nelson entered the portal today. And I know what you're thinking. I thought Nelson was a senior. He went through Senior Day. He is, and he's out of eligibility. He's played four years of college basketball, but two of those were at the Jukau level. Nelson, if he wants to keep playing, we'll have the opportunity to file a waiver, and we'll see if he gets approved. So so far, no big losses for Iowa State.

There are some potential gains on the way, though, as Northwestern forward, Trey Singleton,

the freshman is scheduled to take a visit to Iowa State this weekend, according to 247 sports.
