Saturday to play number 16 Texas Tech, a matchup that would have been massive a couple

weeks ago. Unfortunately, Tech lost their best player, J.T. Toppin. He was potentially going to

be the Big 12 player of the year, certainly an All-American. But even without Topin, this matchup is

still really, really important, and it's going to be tough. So they've had two games without

Topin, and their offense has exploded. They killed K State. They killed Cincinnati. In that

small sample size of two games,

dating back to last Saturday, Texas Tech has the number one offense in the country in that time.

They've found ways to still be effective and also have found ways to improve their rim protection.

T.J. Altslberger explains how they're different without topping. I mean, obviously they had two games, and I think, you know, with both of the, you know,

Banboy and trying to know how to pronounce and took or whatever, both of the bigs, the centers,

you know, I think it gives them more rim protection maybe than what they might have with Toppin.

Obviously, he's a dynamic player on the short role, and pocket passes and being able to drive it at you.

But I think their coaches do an unbelievable job offensively of adapting and adjusting to their personnel.

And they've already done that in the short period of time.
