indicate that Iowa State has their new offensive coordinator. Tyler Roll is reportedly leaving the

Detroit Lions as the tight ends coach to return to Iowa State to be

Jimmy Rogers offensive coordinator that was first reported by the Detroit Free Press.

Roll spent the 2024 season in Ames as the running backs coach. Before that, he was at his

alma mater, North Dakota State as the offensive coordinator for five years, and he was a position

coach for the five years before and he was a position coach

for the five years before that role was a part of six national championships at North Dakota State,

and then in his time at Iowa State played a key in developing that run game with Carson Hanson,

Abusama, while also hitting the recruiting trail. Of course, it's not official yet, but if that

becomes official, that seems to be a home run hire for Jimmy Rogers as he brings in one of his
