Hello and welcome into the Northwest Bank Studios for the Daily Clone here on a Thursday presented by Fairway Meat and Grocery.

We got done talking to T.J. Altslberger, Joshua Jefferson, and Nate

Heisey at Thursday's media availability ahead of Iowa State's game against number 16 Texas Tech

on Saturday. We'll preview that matchup a little bit more on Friday's Daily clone. Today I want

to focus on Joshua Jefferson in the type of season that he's having. It's gone a little bit under

the radar,

and I don't know if it's because of his play style, and because of how quietly he just

gathers points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks. He does it all, and he's going to be an

All-American. It's just a matter of, is he going to be a first team or a second team All-American?

And it'll be not Altslberger's's first Mike Dom was an all-American firm at South Dakota State and of

course he was on staff while George Nying and Melvin Edgham were all-Americans as

well alsoberger says that Jefferson season is just as good as any of those guys

it's right out there with any of them I mean you look at when you're going to talk about somebody for an All-American,

your team has to win, you have to have a significant impact on winning in multiple ways.

And then you need to be someone that demonstrates leadership, especially in the face of adversity.
