Here we are again with the team that's two and six before Halloween. And every year for the last nine seasons outside of the one where they went to the postseason, the Giants have had fewer than two or fewer wins through the first eight games. And it's just unacceptable. Now, you can go over the reasons why that may be the case, but this was not supposed to be this case this year.

You can nitpick, and we'll get to the specifics of the game, whether it's the referees,

obviously the horrific injury to Scataboo. It's just like, I mean, come on, man. Mercy, you wave the white flag. But this is year four of a new regime, and yet it's the same old thing. the last three seasons under Brian Dable outside of his first year where they went to the postseason

2 and 6 through 8 games.

makes me feel good. But you think about

all the momentum that was generated here, some of the conversations.

And by the way, Sal, I don't think that any of the conversations that we or the station or the call, there's not everybody, but that most of us were leaning into, without going nuts, were really erroneous takes.

Like the giants had forced their way into the Giants earned a little

respect early this year. And it had

been so long since they had

generated, since they generated that type of respect

or where it didn't feel flimsy

where maybe they win a game or two, but it's against

a bad team. They beat two really good

teams early. They looked a little
